Nomination Grammy Awards 2014

Sono state annunciate le nomination dei Grammy Awards 2014, la cui serata di gala si terrà il prossimo 26 gennaio allo Staples Center di Los Angeles. La famiglia Carter (Jay-Z + sua moglie Beyoncé) è la grande protagonista delle candidature ai premi musicali più prestigiosi del mondo: il rapper ne ha infatti collezionate ben nove, mentre all’ex vocalist delle Destiny’s Child ne è bastata solo una per toccare quota 46 in carriera e stabilire il record assoluto di nomination assegnate a un’artista femminile.
Jay-Z è candidato nelle categorie Best Rap Song, Best Rap Album, Best Pop Duo/Group Performance, Best Rap Performance, Best Rap/Sung Collaboration (2 nomination), Best Recording Package e Best Music Video (2 nomination). Beyoncé invece nella Best Rap/Sung Collaboration per Part II (On the Run), cantata proprio con Jay-Z.
Le nomination dei Grammy Awards 2014 sono andate benissimo anche per Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Kendrick Lamar, Pharrell Williams e Justin Timberlake con 7 candidature ciascuno.
